How can we tell better stories to inspire people worldwide to live within the Planetary Boundaries? Welcome to a keynote with world-renowned Icelandic author Andri Snær Magnason, and a fireside chat with transformation researcher Per Olsson as well as Deputy Director Lisen Schultz.
Andri Snær Magnasons thought-provoking book On Time and Water explores everything from melting glaciers to mythology, interwoven with his family's personal stories over generations. On November 27:th he's visiting Norrsken House Stockholm for an event co-produced with our friends at Stockholm Resilience Centre and the new initiative Planetary Communications.
The Planetary Communications initiative is aiming to create a science-based sustainability communication model, inspired by the research on the planetary boundaries. The goal is to co-create strategies for effective communication that can inspire people worldwide to live within the planetary boundaries. As such, it is all about tackling the tough challenges of communicating research on climate, environment, and sustainable development, especially in today’s polarized and sometimes fact-resistant world.
The subsequent conversation will be moderated by Per Olsson, who is recognized as one of the world's most influential researchers, along with Lisen Schultz who is the deputy director for Stockholm Resilience Centre.
