OLIVIA LAZARD

Olivia Lazard is a fellow at Carnegie Europe, specializing in the geopolitics of climate, the global transition driven by climate change, and the risks of conflict and fragility linked to environmental collapse. With over twelve years of experience in peacemaking, she has worked with NGOs, the UN, the EU, and donor states across the Middle East, Latin America, Africa, and parts of Asia. Her research focuses on how ecosystem destruction fuels conflicts and climate disruptions. Before joining Carnegie, she founded Peace in Design Consulting, a firm dedicated to conflict and fragile zones.
