We are honoured to welcome William MacAskill, Associate Professor in Philosophy at Oxford University and co-founder of the Effective Altruism movement, to Norrsken House Stockholm.

William MacAskill is the author of New York Times bestsellers Giving What We Can and What We Owe The Future (published in Swedish by Volante as Vad Framtiden Förtjänar).  The book makes the case for “longtermism” — that positively influencing the long-term future is a key moral priority of our time. The fate of the world is in our hands. Humanity’s written history spans only five thousand years. Our yet-unwritten future could last for millions more — or it could end tomorrow.
