Introduction to Angel Investing: Your path from stocks to startups
Moon | 12:00 - 13:00 | Norrsken House Stockholm

This event is for aspiring angel investors who want to start investing in startups but don't know where to begin. We will discuss how investing in startups differs from traditional investments like stocks and funds, how much of your portfolio to allocate to startups, and the importance of setting the right Angel Investor mindset and strategy that aligns with your skills and values. Lastly, we will review the 7-step investment process you will undertake as an angel investor, from sourcing deals to making an investment, to exiting. Margarita Triantafyllidou, CFA is a former Wall Street executive and professional investor. Margarita oversaw $90b in equity products at Morgan Stanley in New York City and led a $2b multi-manager fund. After 15 years managing traditional assets, such as stocks and funds, Margarita has spent the last 3 years building a portfolio of startup investments in Sweden, both individually and through an Angel syndicate. As an investing educator at Finance Latte, Margarita's mission is to empower individuals to elevate their investing skills and use professional frameworks to build long-term wealth.
